Zusammenfassung:Natural resources serve as a fundamental component of economic prosperity. In recent times and after the pandemic, due to vast applicability and demand, fintech has become an important area of research in emerging nations. In the same domain and with respect to E−7 nations, the ongoing research has an objective to explore the impact of natural resources, agriculture, fintech, and green technology on carbon emissions. The research takes a time span of twenty years (2000–2020). The ongoing research has employed the latest technique, the Method of Moments Quantile regression, to assess the connotations. The outcome reveals that natural resources and agriculture expedite to magnify carbon emissions while fintech and green technology lead to minimizing carbon emissions. The research proposes substantial strategies for policy experts. The policy think tanks should focus on the effectual utilization of natural resources in order to reap the benefits. Moreover, the advancement of fintech should be taken as a priority step. Pertinent to accomplish the goal of sustainable manufacturing, the administration should relocate to green technologies in emerging nations. •Natural resources are a significant driver of CO2 emissions in emerging seven nations.•Fintech is an important determinants of CO2 emissions, though it is decreasing CO2 emission.•Green technologies are an integral factor of ecological quality.•Agriculture activities are escalating the environmental degradation.
