Zusammenfassung:Given the lack of research on dust pollution diffusion under traditional ore drawing operations in gold mines, Ansys Fluent was used to simulate the flow characteristics of air and dust pollution in the roadway. The results show that the airflow state in the main transport roadway is relatively stable and strong reverse air circulation develops in the ore drawing roadway. Dust is highly concentrated in the ore drawing area and moves to both ends of the roadway. The dust discharge rate on the operation surface is slow, taking 150 s for a single ore drawing operation to meet the requirement of continuous operation. Finally, a new ventilation and dust removal system based on a mist curtain approach and an intelligent damper was designed to maintain the airflow cleanliness required by each operation surface and reduce dirty air series connection, after application testing, the dust reduction effect can reach 72.6 %. [Display omitted] •Research on traditional ore drawing funnel operation based on gold mines.•Particle size analysis and numerical simulation of gold mine dust.•Design of new dust removal and dust control system integrating multiple modules.•System control and monitoring of dual-channel communication.
