Zusammenfassung: | Adoption behavior spreads socially due to a variety of variables, and the classic dynamic model is insufficient to fully understand the impact of psychological elements on humans. To illustrate the intricacy of personal decision-making and information dissemination, this paper presents the psychological mechanism of latency. This research analyzes the dynamic process on double-layer networks using an edge division theory based method. The simulation results show the phenomena of phase transition. Global outbreak is possible when latency behavior is weak; global outbreak did not happen when latency behavior becomes strong. There is good agreement between the theoretical analysis and experimental simulation results. It is extremely important for the study of psychology, sociology, and dynamics.
•The delayed behaviors based on latency psychology in social propagation are studied in double-layer network.•The threshold model with delayed behaviors is established.•The behavioral threshold is proposed by a linear probability function.•The phase transition on final adoption size is affected by delayed behavior. |
