Zusammenfassung: | In this article, we have discussed the Raman spectroscopy, thermal stability and dielectric properties of Polyaniline Cadmium Sulfide Quantum dots (QDs) (PANI-CdS QDs) nanocomposites. We found that nanocomposites of PANI with CdS QDs have greater thermal stability and stability is further increased by incorporating the greater amount of CdS QDs in PANI. Dielectric properties were measured using LCR meter with parallel plate electrodes and results showed that dielectric constant was 10 times increased with increasing content of CdS QDs in PANI and it also increased with increasing temperature but decreases with increasing frequency. Dielectric loss was also measured for the nanocomposites. It has been observed that dielectric constant and dielectric loss decreases as the frequency is increased and they become constant at higher frequencies. Greater percentage of the QDs in PANI results in the increase of Dielectric constant and dielectric loss. |
