Zusammenfassung:Recently, new low-dimensional materials have been widely used in the field of optoelectronics. These low-dimensional materials bring further improvement to the performance of fiber lasers. In this experiment, a Cr2Sn2Te6 saturable absorber (SA) with modulation depth of 6.17% and saturable intensity of 15.97 MW/cm2 was prepared and its nonlinear absorption characteristics in erbium-doped fiber laser were demonstrated. Furthermore, dispersion management was achieved by changing the length of the single-mode fiber. The conventional soliton mode-locked operation was realized in the region of net dispersion from −0.146 ps2 to −2.030 ps2, and the influence of dispersion on pulse output characteristics is investigated. When the net intracavity dispersion is −0.146 ps2, the conventional soliton mode-locked operation with fundamental repetition frequency of 25 MHz and pulse width of 1.26 ps was realized. The experimental results show that Cr2Sn2Te6 saturable absorber has outstanding nonlinear optical properties and excellent potential in the field of ultrashort pulse fiber lasers.
