Zusammenfassung: | A simple single shot spatiotemporal characterization technique-time slice coherent modulation imaging (TS-CMI), based on electro optical deflection and coherent modulation imaging, was proposed to characterize the spatiotemporal shape of a pulse laser beam with a narrow spectral width. Experimental validation was conducted using a 7ns-pulse width nanosecond laser pulse, achieving a temporal resolution of approximately 2ns and a spatial resolution of 17.5 μm. The proposed method can not only fill the blanks for the single-shot measurement of spatiotemporal profiles of nanosecond laser pulses but also can contribute significantly to enhancing the performance of nanosecond laser systems.
•Propose time-slice CMI for spatiotemporal pulse characterization.•Use electro-optical deflector for pulse deflection.•Use a single camera for data acquisition.•Enhance nanosecond laser system performance significantly. |
