Zusammenfassung:The generation and manipulation of a vector beam based on a nonuniform state of polarization with a high scattering medium (HSM) have attracted considerable interest, mainly due to its fertile underlying physics and potential applications. This work demonstrates theoretically and experimentally the generation and manipulation of a high-resolution twisted vector light field with an HSM based on the vector transmission matrix (VTM) method. The VTM is measured based on the four-step phase shift method, and a two-dimensional phase modulation function for suppressing the scattering effect of an HSM is calculated using phase conjugation technology. For the first time, to our best knowledge, the different polarization components of a generated twisted vector beam with an HSM can be manipulated to locate at various positions in other focal planes by regulating the phase modulation function and VTM. The resolution of a generated twisted beam with an HSM is almost 6 times higher than that with an ordinary lens. These results provide a deeper understanding of vectorially manipulating a structured beam with an HSM, and may find potential applications in the corresponding field. •The different polarization components can be manipulated locate at various positions in different focal planes behind an HSM.•The generation and manipulation of a high-resolution twisted vector light field with an HSM.•The vector transmission matrix method for generating a twisted vector beam with an HSM.
