Zusammenfassung:Orange–red lasers (∼590–625 nm) are of tremendous interest in biomedicine, astronomy, spectroscopy, and laser scanning. So far, the implementation of tunable is still based on the mode-selecting elements in the laser, but it is difficult to achieve a wide range of tuning due to the limited ability to select the optical elements. Here, we report a continuously tunable diamond Raman laser with output from 592–624 nm based on an all-fiber tunable ytterbium-doped laser. A maximum output power of 4.5 W is obtained at 40 W of pump power with a maximum slope efficiency of 17%. Also, we found the anti-Stokes spectrum in the output spectrum. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first discovery in a continuous-wave diamond Raman laser. The work demonstrated that continuously tunable multispectral outputs can be achieved with the same technique. •A continuously tunable diamond Raman laser with output from 592–624 nm based on an all-fiber tunable ytterbium-doped laser was fabricated.•A maximum output power of 4.5 W is obtained at 40 W of pump power with a maximum slope efficiency of 17%.•The anti-Stokes spectrum in the output was firstly reported in a continuous-wave diamond Raman laser.
