Zusammenfassung: | The education of students in the field of nuclear engineering must combine theoretical and practical teaching, this is the only way to produce quality graduates. Practical education generally includes two areas — experimental teaching and the use of advanced computational codes for the simulation of physical phenomena. The availability of practical education is not a matter of course for all students. The transfer of practical teaching to an online environment opens up a lot of possibilities even for universities that do not have a nuclear reactor, laboratories or extensive computing infrastructure at their disposal.
The article deals with key aspects that must be respected when implementing online practical education and training. The listed tips and recommendations are based on the experience gained during the COVID pandemic and during the solution of the PADINE-TT project, which was a response to the development of online teaching and its inclusion in teaching at individual universities.
