In this study, a novel MIL101−Cr/PANI/Ag nanohybrid was synthesized based on a Chromium-based metal-organic framework (MOF) prepared by a hydrothermal method and structurally characterized using various techniques such as FE-SEM, XRD, FT-IR, EDAX, BET, and TEM analyzes. The nanohybrid exhibited active performance due to changes in the UV–Vis absorbencies of the aqueous solutions at λ max=662 nm. MB adsorption over MOF-based composites follows pseudo-second-order kinetics. The influence of various operational parameters such as MIL101−Cr/PANI/Ag mass (20, 30 and 40) 10-4 g, initial dye concentration (15, 25, 35 and 50 mgL−1), pH (2−12) and temperature (25–55∘C) were investigated. The findings showed that size of the MIL101−Cr/PANI/Ag nanohybrid was 153 nm. The total pore volume, BET surface area, and Langmuir surface area were found to be 2861 m2/g, and 1.608 m3g−1, respectively. Zeta potential of MIL101−Cr/PANI and MIL101−Cr/PANI/Ag was equal to −3.8 V and −39.5 V. efficiency was observed for MB adsorption, at the pH = 12, Methylene blue was 25mgL−1, MIL101−Cr/PANI/Ag was 0.03 g and the temperature of 25∘C which led to 96% methylene blue adsorption. |
