Zusammenfassung:The cytokines and their receptors are proved polymorphic in their nature and have a role in organizing functions of immune system, employed in a different disease, and susceptibility to infection. The objective of this study is to provide a valuable information about the risks of IL-17A elevated levels in aborted women with toxoplasmosis by determining the risk or the protective role of alleles or genotypes for SNP of IL-17A (rs2275913) which might have a relationship with the susceptibility to toxoplasmosis. The blood samples of patients and controls were collected from Al-Alawiya Maternity Teaching Hospital/Baghdad/Iraq from 2019 to 2020 for detecting the level of IL-17A by ELISA and the allelic discrimination method was used for SNP IL-17A. The results revealed that the concentration of IL-17A in recurrent abortion, and recurrent abortion with toxoplasmosis was elevated versus healthy and pregnant women with significant difference. In addition, the SNP results of IL-17A showed that codominant and recessive model have appeared a significant association between patients and controls in genotype AA and allele A. Further, in recurrent abortion with toxoplasmosis have appeared significant differences of genotype AA, and allele A which are associated with reduced a risk of the disease while allele G is associated with increased risk (P
