Zusammenfassung:•Considerable surface areas porosity and Mott-Schottky are key in enhancing the catalytic efficiency of mesoporous magnetic nanocomposite of TiO2-Pd nano-architectures.•FST-His-Pd, a photoactive sustainable TiO2-Pd, was used for cross-coupling Suzuki reaction.•The eco-friendly TiO2-Pd was used for Suzuki reaction in room temperature and without any wastes. Intelligently designed effective photocatalysts and their surface manufacturing are essential to generating chemical energy from solar energy in photocatalytic organic reactions. In this paper, we have synthesized a robust photocatalyst for CC coupling reaction under visible light irradiation. The designed structure including Fe3O4@SiO2/TiO2 decorated with l-Histidine/Pd, showed significant photocatalytic activity in a CC coupling reaction. The main advantages of this heterogeneous photocatalyzed CC cross-coupling reaction are its environment friendly, high yield of products, stability, durability, recyclability, and simple and facile synthesis approach.
