We report the facile electrospinning fabrication of hollow V0.95Mo0.97O5 nanofibers via controlling oxidization of the V/Mo/polymer precursor, whose structural evolution upon increasing the annealing temperature are revealed. When examined as anode of lithium-ion batteries, the hollow V0.95Mo0.97O5 nanofibers display superior electrochemical properties with high cycle and rate capability, delivering high reversible capacities of 746.7/583.8 mAh/g at 500/1000 mA/g after 300 cycles, and a high-rate capacity of 614 mAh/g at 2000 mA/g. |
