This short communication reports the grain growth behaviors and static recrystallization mechanisms of Mg-1.0 wt%Ca sheet after hot-compression along rolling direction (RD) and normal direction (ND), respectively. The results strongly suggest that Mg-1.0 wt%Ca alloy owns excellent thermal stability and has the potential to serve as heat-resistant products. |
