In-situ growth of Mg(OH)2 coating on magnesium alloy was usually used to improve the corrosion resistance of the substrate. In this study, a novel two-layer Mg(OH)2 coating was prepared with the assistance of Ti3C2Tx MXene by a facile one-step hydrothermal method. Ti3C2Tx MXene in hydrothermal solution can promote the growth of Mg(OH)2 and combine with Mg(OH)2 stably. The Mg(OH)2@MXene coating can obviously enhance the corrosion resistance of the substrate. |
