Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, we report the construction of hydrogen bonded supramolecular assemblies of salt obtained from novel nitrogen rich C3-symmetric star-shaped triamioguanidine-pyrrole conjugate and various carboxylic acids. Different types of supramolecular assembly were achieved by using a variety of carboxylate anions. Formation of all compounds were confirmed by single crystal analysis. The hydrogen bonded three-dimensional supramolecular network assemblies (1–6) are harvested by utilizing traditional N–H⋯O, O–H⋯O, and weak C–H⋯π interactions. Among all salts, heterosynthons R21(10) containing traditional N–H⋯O interactions are commonly observed. The thermal stability of salt 1–6 has been examined by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).

•A variety of salt with interesting hydrogen-bonded supramolecular networks was constructed.•Structure of all the salt was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.•Star-shaped C3-symmetric triamioguanidine-pyrrole conjugate was utilized as a hydrogen bond donor.•Carboxylate anion and solvent molecules were employed as hydrogen bond acceptors.•The N–H⋯O and O–H⋯O hydrogen bonds play a vital role in the construction of supramolecular networks. |
