Zusammenfassung: | This study aims to calculate the electromagnetic radiation attenuation coefficients for various tissues (16) of the human body (Skeleton cortical bone, Brain, Blood, Lung, Heart, Liver, Muscle, Ovary, Thyroid, Spleen, Kidney, Pancreas, Skin, Eye lens, Breast, and Adipose tissue) and also demonstrate the effect of changing an element of the chemical composition of these tissues on the gamma attenuation coefficients. Three programs were used to calculate the attenuation coefficients and note their differences. Phy-X/PSD, XCOM, and Geant4 were calculated in the energy range from 1 MeV to 100 GeV and compared with available experimental values of the adipose, brain, breast, kidney, liver, and lung tissues. The geant4 value is the most agreement with the experimental values. |
