Zusammenfassung:The statistical forecast model developed to optimize the process of searching for materials that meet the conditions of specific tasks of metal hydride technologies has been tested for application to the Laves phase alloys. The chemical and phase compositions of initial alloys were tested with X-ray and EDX. Absorption/desorption isotherm were measured and the experimental values of thermodynamic parameters compared with results of model calculations. •The statistical forecast model has been tested for application to the Laves phase alloys.•Experimental and calculation results show good coincidence.•For more precision of forecast more experimental data are needed to add to databases.
