A sensitive fluorescence probe based on porous Lanthanum-1,4-benzenedicarboxylic frameworks (La-BDC) was prepared for a selective part per billion detections of 2-chloroethyl ethyl sulfide (2-CEES). The fluorescence quenching of the La-BDC spectrum determines the sensing of 2-CEES. Fabrication of porous La-BDC particles was achieved via the solvothermal method. The physicochemical properties of the porous La-BDC particles were studied by FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy, while the UV–Vis spectrometer and fluorescence spectroscopy was employed to characterize the fluorescence performance. The La-BDC sensor achieved a sensitive detection limit (LOD = 0.0521 nM, 0.0065 ppb) with a wide linearity range of 25–400 ppb for 2-CEES. Also, the sensor demonstrated a selectivity towards detecting of 2-CEES in the presence of dimethyl methyl phosphonate and hexane. |
