Zusammenfassung: | We proposed a cascaded axis-aligned single mode-four mode-single mode (SFS) fiber structure filter as an all-optical pulse shaper. It’s shown that pulse shapers with different intensity profiles output can be achieved by adjusting the parameters of the cascaded SFS fiber structures. We designed and obtained flat-top, triangular and parabolic pulse shapers using cascaded axis-aligned SFS fiber structure filters at different input pulse widths, followed by characterizations. The proposed design provides a simple and competitive way to implement optical arbitrary waveform generators. |
