Zusammenfassung: | NaBaScSi2O7 activated with Bi3+ and Eu3+ could be prepared by the convention solid state reaction. Characteristic luminescence of these activators could be observed in this host for the first time. A strong emission in violet attributable to 3P1 → 1So transition peaking at 410 nm is observed for Bi3+. Maximum intensity was reached for 1 mol% of Bi3+. Eu3+ emission is in form of characteristic orange and red lines around 581, 595, 612 and 622 nm due to f-f transitions. Eu2+ doped sample was also obtained simply by heating with charcoal. Well known Eu2+ emission could be observed. |
