Zusammenfassung: | A new genus and two new species of Embioptera are described from the Upper Cretaceous of Burmese amber: Gnethoda odontophora sp. nov. is classified into Clothodidae Gnethoda due to its similar body characters and venation, but distinguished by the number of incisive teeth on left mandible and bladders on metabasitarsus from other species; Multivena curvivena gen. et sp. nov., is erected base on intensive long setae on antenna, MA forked, Cu not fork, multiple crossveins present between C and R, and assigned to Sorellembiidae. The new fossil species enrich the diversity of Embioptera in the Cretaceous. |
