Zusammenfassung:Flax epoxy composites can be massively adopted in internal applications of automobiles and aircraft. This research work mainly deals with flax fiber composite in which unidirectional flax fibers are reinforced in epoxy matrix and are used in combination with CNT fillers. Such composite plate structures are manufactured and are tested using a smart actuation system. This experimental research work aims to find out the variations of the natural frequencies of composite plates made of flax fibers and CNT fillers. The consequence of various parameters like size, number of layers, etc. on CNT reinforced flax epoxy composite is discussed. The percentage of CNT fillers is varied and results for several parametric studies are presented.
