Zusammenfassung:[Display omitted] Using membrane separation has broader application prospects; however, its low mass transfer efficiency has limited its development. Progress with studies on improving the selectivity and permeability of new hollow fiber membranes has been slow and difficult thus far. Additionally, improving the structure of the hollow fiber membrane module to improve the fluid flow performance of the flow field in the membrane module and enhance mass transfer is a common research strategy. In this study, a series of innovative designs of membrane modules developed by scholars in the field of hollow fiber membrane applications were reviewed. Various successful optimization designs can provide new insights for researchers on membrane separation.
