Zusammenfassung:Contamination in the water by textile dyes considers a serious threat to all living forms. Harmful colours can be eliminated and decomposed by bacteria in wastewater. The objective of current research is to produce efficient bio composite material for removal of methyl red dye. The six different types of composite materials were utilised for the batch study. The optimum decolourization efficiency was maximum by using Calcite + DigSBiochar + Burkholderia sp. ISTR5 with 95 % at pH 8 and temperature 30 °C. The column reactor studies results indicated that Calcite + DigSBiochar + Burkholderia sp. ISTR5 can be used as an effective and successful decolourization and remediation materials for industrial pollutants wastewater including methyl red. Techniques like spectroscopy, FTIR, SEM and EDX were used for characterization. [Display omitted]
