Zusammenfassung:The magnetic and conductive characteristics of ferromagnetic pipe walls present significant challenges during inductive power transfer owing to eddy currents and magnetic shielding. These effects weaken the magnetic coupling between the transmitter and receiver coils, which, in turn, degrades the transmission efficiency. Thus, this work primarily focuses on the effect of a ferromagnetic pipe wall interface on the parameters obtained via finite element analysis for computing the time-harmonic magnetic field. Moreover, the effectiveness of the magnetic saturation of the pipe wall is discussed in terms of the transmission power and efficacy.
