Zusammenfassung:Two Pluteus species are described here based on the macro- and micro-morphological characters. These characters are accompanied by phylogenetic analysis which supported their identification as Pluteus cervinus (Schaeff) P. Kumm. and P. salicinus (Pers.) P. Kumm. Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) of nrDNA was used for molecular characterization. P. salicinus represents a new record to India whereas P. cervinus represents new record to Jammu and Kashmir.
