Zusammenfassung:Solketal has been identified as one of the most promising chemical entities among oleochemicals. Process intensification protocols such as continuous flow technology add a new dimension and a promising toolbox for ketalisation of bio-based abundant polyol, glycerol. This review discusses recent advances in the catalytic ketalisation of glycerol encompassing homogeneous catalysts, commercial heterogeneous catalysts and specifically designed heterogeneous catalysts in the laboratories. Graphical abstract Schematic representation of detecting ofloxacin (OFL) by differential pulse voltammetry approach based on the laser modified glassy carbon electrode (LGCE), which increased the active functional groups and surface area compared to GCE.
