Zusammenfassung:In present times, medical images get shared among doctors for fast and efficient diagnosis. Unfortunately, these images have high redundancy and correlation, hence attacked in ease. The popular encryption techniques like RSA (Rivest Shamir Adleman) and DES (data encryption standard) provide higher security but limit its capabilities for images. This paper chooses a chaos-based encryption scheme for securing medical imageswith two step process i.e.HPBD [(hyperchaotic-based pixel and bit scrambling, and deoxyribo nucleic acid (DNA)] which comprises three steps: pixel scrambling, bit scrambling, andDNA encoding (DNA-XOR and DNA complementary). Secondly, A (3, 3) extended visualcryptography technique (EVCT) for transmission. Theoretical analysis and experimental results showed that the proposed approach is secured and can withstand attacks: differential attacks, statistical attacks, and plain-text attack using HPBD.
