Zusammenfassung: | A suitable green sand mold requires the sand system to be managed appropriately. Simulation is a useful tool for designing and controlling for the sand molding, so the demand for molding simulation is increasing. In the present study, the squeeze molding simulation is carried out considering the particle size distribution. As a result, it was clear that the relationship between the void fraction and the compacting pressure during squeeze molding was clarified. The influence of the particle size distribution on the compacting behavior of the molding sand layers was also clarified. Further, the three-dimensional visualization of the green sand molding was shown in the present study. |
