Zusammenfassung:Complex permittivity spectra of aqueous solutions of monosaccharide ( d -glucose) and disaccharides ( d -sucrose) in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 30 GHz at various concentrations and temperatures have been determined using time domain reflectometry technique. The complex dielectric permittivity spectrum of d -glucose and d -sucrose in water shows Cole–Davidson type behaviour. Dielectric constant (ε 0 ) and relaxation time (τ), Kirkwood correlation factor, activation enthalpy and entropy parameters have been determined.
