Zusammenfassung: | All-optical communication network produces higher throughput with simple structure comparatively with traditional telecommunication networks. Semiconductor optical amplifier shows significant performance in the design of all-optical devices for high-speed applications. In this paper, an all-optical parity generator and checker (PGC) is designed based on RSOA. Even PGC using exclusive OR (XOR) gate are implemented at 300 Gbps. In this work, PGC is designed to support high-speed error detection and correction applications. The circuit is designed and simulated in the OptiSystem software and the performance evaluated in the terms of quality factor, bit error rate and eye diagram. The performance of the designed system is ensured with the obtained quality factor value of 55.54 and 57.15, respectively, for the PGC, and also, the extinction ratio value is 35 dB and 37 dB, respectively, for the designed generator and checker. |
