Zusammenfassung:A new species, Elatostema muluense, is described and illustrated. It is endemic to the limestone karst o Gunung Mulu National Park and most closely resembles E. pinnativenium, a species from Kinabalu Park in Sabah. An assessment of its conservation status using IUCN categories and methodologies evaluates the species as Vulnerable to extinction (VU).
