Zusammenfassung:Four mononuclear selenocyanate complexes, namely [Ni(bdpab)(NCSe) 2 ], [Co(bdpab)(NCSe) 2 ] and [Zn(bdpab)(NCSe)] Y ( Y  = ClO 4 − or PF 6 − ), have been synthesized from the appropriate metal perchlorate, N , N -bis(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl-N 2 -phenylethane-1,2-diamine (bdpab) and SeCN − , and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. In addition, the X-ray crystal structures of [Ni(bdpab)(NCSe) 2 ], [Co(bdpab)(NCSe) 2 ] and [Zn(bdpab)(NCSe)]ClO 4 have been obtained and show that the Ni(II) and Co(II) complexes have distorted octahedral geometries, whereas the Zn(II) complex has five coordination with a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry.
