Synthesis of 3-nitramino-4-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-1,2,5-oxadiazoles and their salts

Abstact Nitration of 3-amino-4-(1 H -1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-1,2,5-oxadiazoles (3-amino-4-triazolylfurazans) with a mixture of NaNO 3 and conc. H 2 SO 4 gave for the first time triazolylfurazans with a primary nitramino group attached to the furazan ring. If the starting amino(triazolyl)-furazan contains an aromatic substituent, the latter also undergoes nitration under the conditions studied. Some of these nitramines were converted into salts (K, Na, and NH 4 ).
