Eco-friendly decoration of graphene oxide with green synthesized silver nanoparticles: cytotoxic activity

The aim of the present study was to focus on the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the aqueous extract of dried jujube fruit and the synthesized AgNPs were coated on the graphene oxide (GO + AgNPs). The AgNPs and GO + AgNPs were characterized by UV–visible spectrum, FT-IR, scanni...

Zusammenfassung:The aim of the present study was to focus on the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the aqueous extract of dried jujube fruit and the synthesized AgNPs were coated on the graphene oxide (GO + AgNPs). The AgNPs and GO + AgNPs were characterized by UV–visible spectrum, FT-IR, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and selected area electron diffraction. The in vitro screening of the AgNPs and GO + AgNPs showed potential cytotoxic activity against human cervical cancer cell line (HeLa).
