Zusammenfassung:Assuming the existence of an eV scale sterile neutrino, we develop a 3 + 1 neutrino mass model using A 4 × Z 4 × Z 2 symmetry group. Three Higgs fields H , H ′ and H ′′ are considered to give a desired neutrino mass matrix which generates non-zero θ 13 and also successfully provides the active-sterile neutrino data in normal hierarchy. We also study the results of kinematic measurements of β −decay ( m β ) and neutrinoless double beta decay ( m β β ) from the model. These results are consistent with latest experimental bounds and found to be in the ranges 0.0784 eV < m β < 0.3034 eV and 0.0034 eV < m β β < 0.0667 eV respectively.
