Non-Cloth Materials with Antimicrobial Properties for Air Filtration

A method for preparing chemically modified non-cloth materials with an organosiloxane coating containing amines and silver ions that was covalently bound to the surface and that had antimicrobial properties was developed. The effectiveness of their biocidal properties was analyzed. It was shown that the non-cloth materials could be protected from biological damage. The optimum manufacturing conditions for multi-layered non-cloth filtering materials for air conditioners were established.
