Zusammenfassung:Zeolite sorbents Cu + -13X and La/Cu + -13X were prepared by the ion-exchange method. Static equilibrium and kinetics for adsorption of 3-methylthiophene and benzothiophene on these zeolites were studied. The adsorption isotherm corresponds to the Langmuir model. The kinetic data are described by the Crank diffusion model. Modification of the zeolite Cu + -13X with lanthanum promotes an increase in absorption capacity and maximum adsorption capacity, and reduces adsorption competition between 3-methylthiophene and benzothiophene.
