Zusammenfassung:	Experimental evidence of the spiral range is provided for a diffusive passive scalar. The spectral properties of the scalar patterns acquired are compared with a numerically tracked non-diffusive patch advected by the same flow and with the spiral core, obtained by processing the original pictures. The spectra of these three geometries converge towards each other with time.
