Zusammenfassung: | The analysis of technological schemes for obtaining longish deformed semi-finished products in the form of wire from solder silver alloys is carried out. It has been found that for their production, it is expedient to apply the methods of continuous casting and combined processing. A search was made for new compositions of solder alloys based on silver, not containing cadmium, and having a high level of mechanical and technological properties. Based on its results, new solder alloys have been developed, protected by Russian patents, which meet the requirements of current standards for the chemical composition of the main component and technological properties. With the help of the author’s program, the simulation of ingotless rolling-extrusion of rods from the new SolAg-40I alloy was carried out and the values of the temperature, speed, and deformation parameters of the process were determined for two combined processing units. Experimental studies have been carried out, as a result of which technologies have been developed, including operations of continuous casting, rolling, extrusion, drawing, and pilot batches of cast, and deformed semi-finished products from the investigated alloys have been obtained. The structure and mechanical properties of these semi-finished products were studied at all technological stages, and recommendations were given for the choice of alloys for the production of solder wire, the mechanical and operational properties of which must meet the requirements of the standards. Production tests of wire from pilot batches were carried out, as a result of which it was found that the new solder alloy SolAg-40I, which does not contain cadmium, is characterized by good deformability, and has the required melting temperature, crystallization range, and solderability. This made it possible to obtain from it a solder wire with a diameter up to 1.2 mm. |
