Zusammenfassung:An efficient synthesis of N -phenylcarboxamodo-2-aryl-1,2-dihydro-(4 H )-3,1-benzoxazin-4-ones is described by cyclization reaction of some 2-(benzylidene-amino)-benzoic acids with phenyl isocyanate under reflux conditions in CHCl 3 . Higher yields of the products were produced in high purity with simple work-up.
