Building professional research partnerships: possibilities and perplexities

This paper looks at building professional research partnerships. The author explores some of the issues relating to the concept of professional partnerships, not so much in relation to partnerships in teacher education, but specifically in reaction to 'research partnerships' in education. The paper focuses upon two forms of research partnership: researching for the profession, and researching in the profession.
