Solubilities, at 25Ŷ, were determined in: ethanol, methanol, isopropyl alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate, carbon tetrachloride, and petroleum ether. Barium and cadmium soaps of hydroxy and nonhydroxy acid fractions, obtained by partitioning the whole wool wax acid fraction, were also prepared and subjected to the same study. |
