Classification and estimation of mining districts in terms of endogenous fire hazard

Zusammenfassung: | A procedure for classifying coal mining sections by fire risk is proposed depending on 19 principal parameters. The file of input parameters is converted into a system which has the highest information content in terms of a possible division of observed objects into classes. In the metric of the new space, the probability function is then constructed which permits the classification of objects into high-risk and low -risk groups. 6 refs. |
