Zusammenfassung:Resonant co-oscillations in a narrow rectangular gulf are analyzed mathematically, with particular attention to dynamical conditions at the mouth of the gulf. The prime objective is to emphasize certain properties of resonance which depend upon the manner in which the mouth forcing oscillation is prescribed. The work is ancillary to an investigation being made of water level fluctuations in Green Bay, Lake Michigan. Some simple numerical calculations are worked out for that bay.
