Zusammenfassung: | This paper investigates an IR laser receiver whose operating principle is based on the onset of a planar thermal emf (TEMF) in a film structure obtained by oblique deposition, in vacuum, of two metals (or semiconductors) with different TEMF coefficients on a rough dielectric substrate at different angles. The advantages of receivers of this type are simple manufacturing technology, high time resolution at satisfactory sensitivity, low internal resistance and the possibility of using the receivers in an open-flow regime. |
