Zusammenfassung:We present the results of a numerical investigation of the generation regimes in a laser with a two-component active medium. We observe regimes of steady-state generation, generation of undamped intensity pulsations, and the autostochastic regime. We analyze the mechanism of the transition from regular to stochastic behavior. It is shown in this work that lasers with a multicomponent active medium can display complicated generation regimes in a realistically achievable region of the parameter values. We discuss the possibility applying the two-level model to describe lasers with inhomogeneous broadening.
