Based on the model of laser quenching of steels, theoretical and numerical analysis is made of the quasi-stationary unbounded problem of thermoelastoplasticity with regard to concentration stresses. The linear density of dislocations was estimated and the residual stresses at laser quenching of steels by an axisymmetric beam were evaluated. Steels used include 40, 45, and U8.
