Zusammenfassung:See adjacent abstract. So far as surface films are responsible to a great extent for further corrosion behaviour of alloys, investigations are performed into peculiarities of the formation of corrosion products on a low-carbon steels at initial stages of its exposure to sea water. The research was carried out by the X-ray photoemission method. An essential increasing of the useful information was due to an application of the complex of interactive programs 'Spektr--Dialog'. It was illustrated that in nature sea water the anodic reaction Fe - > Fe exp 3+ of St3 steel corrosion occurs at rather high rate. This effect already takes place on initial stages of the corrosion process.
